The idea for BOSSTOSS was born when Mike Rivard and few of his employees started throwing bean bags at a wall-mounted corn hole game. He then took the idea and spent about 3 months designing and inventing several different versions of the game until he found one that stuck. His family-owned manufacturing company based in East Bethel, MN started its marketing campaign by door-to-door sales while visiting bars, pizza pubs, and restaurants in June 2017. Today, you can play the BOSSTOSS game at over 6000 establishments.
On Saturday, December 9th, 2017, the first BOSSTOSS tournament was hosted at CR’s Sport Bar in Coon Rapids, MN. The tournament brought out 90 competitors in 45 participating teams! With the added purse of $2000 and sponsors like Jameson & Budweiser, the tournament was a huge success! Today, restaurants & bars are featuring tournaments as a fun event for current and new customers.
